Warning signs

Any one of these is reason enough to pause. Two or more is reason enough to call one of the numbers above today.

  • Chasing losses. Increasing deposits to "win back" what you've already lost.
  • Borrowing to play. Using credit cards, EMIs, or family money to deposit.
  • Hiding play. Concealing the apps, time spent, or amounts lost from family or partner.
  • Time slipping. Sessions you intended to be 30 minutes turning into 5 hours.
  • Sleep loss. Playing past 2 AM regularly. Waking up tired and behind on work.
  • Mood crash. Feeling depressed or anxious when not playing.
  • Skipping life. Missing meals, exercise, family time to play.
  • Loss of perspective. Thinking of Teen Patti as an income stream rather than entertainment.

Set limits before you play

Every app we review on 3PattiAdda offers built-in limit controls, as required by the PROGA Act 2025. Use them. Specifically:

  1. Daily deposit limit. Set it before your first deposit. Make it 10% lower than what you think you can afford. You can always raise it later (most apps have a 24-hour cooling-off before increases take effect).
  2. Session timer. Most apps offer a session limit (e.g. 60 minutes). Use it. When time is up, close the app.
  3. Self-exclusion. If you can't stop, use the app's self-exclusion option. It locks your account for a chosen period (1 day, 7 days, 30 days, permanent). Most apps honor this immediately.

Block apps at the OS level

If you've self-excluded and feel tempted, block the app and its domain at the device level. On Android: Settings → Digital wellbeing → App timers → 0 minutes. On the network: configure your router DNS to block the operator's domain (e.g. via NextDNS or Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 family filter).

For family members

If you're worried about a family member's Teen Patti play, do not start by demanding they stop. Problem gamblers usually respond to confrontation by hiding the problem deeper. Instead:

  1. Call iCall or Vandrevala Foundation yourself. They counsel family members too.
  2. Approach the conversation when neither of you is in a hot state.
  3. Talk about the impact on your relationship, not the dollar figures.
  4. Offer to attend a Gamblers Anonymous family meeting with them.

If you're in immediate crisis

If you are thinking about harming yourself, please call iCall at 9152987821 or Vandrevala Foundation at 1860-2662-345 right now. They are free and confidential, and they are there for exactly this. You are not alone.

3PattiAdda is an information site. We are not therapists. We strongly encourage anyone struggling with their play to call one of the numbers above today.
